The driving force behind the Funda Mentals property division is Yoesuf (Joe) Bardien (Project Manager Building & Civil Construction).
Joe obtained his Carpentry trade 54 years ago. His last 30 years experience has been as foreman, site manager and project manager in the building / civil construction field. Joe is passionate about restoration of heritage sites picked up during his 10 year role as site manager for the restoration of "The Castle". Of late he has been involved in project managing low cost housing, schools as well as 3 designer homes in Constantia. Project sizes range from R2 million to about R6 million.
Joe is particularly skilled at Programme, Production and Cost management and extracts value for property development via these skills. With his associations and networks possess key skills, expertise and specialised resource to manage the downside risks within the Property Development Construction environment.
